Does it hurt?

Sensations differ from person to person; the pigment goes in very superficially, as a thin veil. We will discuss it at the consultation.

Is a deposit required?

No. Booking requires no deposit.

Is permanent make-up the same as a tattoo?

No. Pigments for permanent make-up are formulated specifically for facial skin: they are softer, lighter, and naturally fade over time. Because of this, after one and a half to three years, the make-up becomes softer rather than turning into a gray-blue mark. Tattoo inks are denser, deposited deeper, and barely break down. Permanent make-up does not stay with you for life: it is designed to enhance, not to cover up.

Cosmetic tattooing, permanent make-up, micropigmentation — what is the difference?

It is all the same thing: the only difference is the language the word was taken from. The pigment is always introduced into the exact same layer of skin; there are no "secret techniques". There is only skill and the result.

How does the procedure work?

First, a consultation: we discuss your wishes, address any concerns, and select a shade. Then, the sketch — you look at the shape in the mirror and we adjust it until you like it. Next is the procedure itself using disposable materials. After 4–8 weeks, we check the healed result and decide if a touch-up is needed.

Mineral or organic pigments — which should I choose?

Mineral pigments provide a soft, natural look, heal predictably, and fade gently over time — they are especially well-suited for fair and sensitive skin. Organic pigments are brighter and denser, retaining their colour longer, but require a precise shade match. We choose based on the effect you prefer, not just the pigment itself.

How long does the result last?

Lash line enhancement — on average from one and a half to three years, lips — from one to two years, brows — also gradually fade over one to three years. Everything depends on the skin, age, aftercare and sun exposure. When the pigment fades, it can be refreshed.

Is a touch-up needed?

Not always. We evaluate the healed result after 6–8 weeks: on the lips, a color touch-up is needed in about half of the cases; on mature skin, almost always, because the pigment appears softer and lighter.

Are there special considerations for mature skin?

Yes, and it is the most delicate work. With age, the skin becomes thinner, drier, and more sensitive, making a gentle touch and the individual selection of technique and needle especially important. Healing may take longer, swelling may last slightly more, and the pigment shows up softer — a touch-up is almost always needed, and aftercare at home is especially important.

How do you ensure cleanliness and sterility?

Needles, cartridges, and pigment caps are single-use and opened in your presence. I work in disposable gloves and treat the skin with antiseptic before and after. The treatment bed, surfaces, lamp, and machine are disinfected before each client, and bed sheets and wipes are disposable.

What should I do about the sun?

SPF 50 every day, even when it is cloudy. Without protection, the sun speeds up pigment fading and can alter the shade; with SPF, the result stays even and rich for longer. This is especially important during the healing period.

I have old permanent make-up that I don't like. What can be done?

There are three options: refresh it, cover it up, or first lighten it with a remover and do a new procedure on a clean base. Which one is suitable we assess during the consultation based on the condition of the skin and pigment.
